FWD Life Insurance Corp. is supporting the PHA's 52100 campaign in their FWD Live to Move video. Coaches Jim and Toni Saret have designed this set of exercises for FWD, and they are also PHA Healthy Lifestyle ambassadors. FWD encourages viewers to take on the challenge by uploading videos on Youtube showing variations to the 4-minute exercises. They may also get the chance to win prizes. PHA members can also join the challenge.

The Philippine Society of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism will hold its celebration of the Diabetes Awareness Week on the 25th of July 2015 (Saturday) from 7am-12nn at the Valdez Hall, Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

The theme is "Palarong Pilipino: Pagkilos Laban sa Diabetes." Activities include: lay lecture on how to identify people at risk of diabetes and how to prevent diabetes, Philippine games with prizes, free blood sugar screening and counselling, foot examination, mobile bus clinic (RBS screening, BP monitoring). Registration is free.

PMA MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO: 2015-07-16-006

In the last Board Meeting of the PMA last July 12, 2015, the Board of Governors passed Resolution No 22, series 2015-16 approving the continuation or extension of the Balik PMA Program up to December 31, 2015. Payments should have reached the PMA on or before December 31, 2015.

The Balik PMA program grants a 50% discount on all arrears from membership dues from 2013 or earlier. The membership dues for 2014-15 and 2015-16 should be paid in full.
