The American College of Cardiology held an Assembly of Chapter Governors to lay the foundation of the ACC international activities over the next 5 years. Dr. Raul Lapitan, PHA Director (front, 5th from L), represented Dr. Saturnino Javier, ACC Philippine Chapter Governor, at the meeting held during the ESC Congress in Amsterdam.

The KSC 2013 is an annual international conference in the field of cardiology field. This year's event will be held at KINTEX, Republic of Korea, on November 29 to 30, 2013.

KSC 2013  is where experts from Korea and overseas discuss current issues for achieving the development in cardiology research. It will feature a wide range of excellent scientific programs to ensure that participants are up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiology research.

The University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery together with the University of Santo Tomas Hospital Department of Medicine will launch its 31st postgraduate course entitled: "UNDERSTANDING SQUABBLES, SOLUTIONS, AND TRENDS" on October 23 to 25, 2013 at the Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.

The affair will showcase lectures and interactive workshops for internists and general practitioners in dealing with current controversies and updates on management of contemporary issues in medicine.
