Emirates Cardiac Society patners with the Harvard Medical School's innovative new program Introduction to Clinical Research Training (ICRT).
The Emirates Cardiac Society will support a qualified candidate in the field of cardiology or cardiac sciences with a scholarship of up to AED 25,000 to cover the US $5,500 tuition and course-related costs of the program. ICRT is a six-month training program by Harvard faculty designed for physicians interested in patient-oriented research. The program combines online learning and two intensive workshops in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
KEY FEATURES of the INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL RESEARCH TRAINING (ICRT) PROGRAM
This is a 6-month research training designed for physicians interested in patient-oriented research.
Combination of online learning and two intensive workshops in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
o FIRST WORKSHOP: Sunday, December 7 – Tuesday, December 9, 2014, Dubai, UAE
o SECOND WORKSHOP: Sunday, May 3 – Tuesday, May 5, 2015, Abu Dhabi, UAE (Bonus session "Introduction to American Medicine")
APPLICATION INFORMATION
-Applicants should have an MBBS, MD, PhD, DDS, PharmD, DNP, or equivalent degree.
-Applicants should be physicians in training at the intern, resident or fellow level
-Preference will be give to UAE nationals
