DOH hails joint PHA & PSH statement on BP; support for COVID-19 mitigation efforts

The Philippine Heart Association (PHA) is honored to get the Department of Health (DOH) seal and validation on the PHA and Philippine Society of Hypertension (PSH) Joint Statement on Elevated Blood Pressure Reading during COVID Vaccination.

The letter from the DOH Office of the Secretary also reads: “as we formulate our implementing guidelines on vaccination, we would like to extend our gratitude and recognize your efforts and support for the national government’s COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

The PHA further reiterates its commitment as a constant DOH and PSH partner. The strong tie that binds us as a triumvirate is our pledge to serve the public. One way is leading in the information dissemination about vaccination guidelines for patients with hypertension.
